The worship committee has been in conversation this week, and with the liklihood of significant snowfall this weekend, we feel that it is safest to forego worshipping in person this Sunday, February 1st. With forecasts calling for significant snow, and frigid temperatures on Sunday morning, we are afraid that conditions will be too dangerous to gather in person.

Click on the link to find an order of worship for use in your home. You’re invited to use this on Sunday morning. With the potential for power-loss a possibility, you might consider printing a hard-copy so as to conserve the power on your devices. This also gives us the opportunity to set the devices aside for a time and be present in our worship.

I pray that you find these resources a blessing and a worthwhile experience in lieu of our ability to gather in person.

As we look towards things that are coming up: be mindful that the FMP 40th Anniversary Celebration has been rescheduled to March 8th, from 2-4pm. In talking with Shari this week, she wanted to make sure that February is solidly behind us before we reschedule. Go ahead and be sure to get that date on your calendar! 

In February we're looking forward to Men's Breakfast on the 8th at 8:30am, and be sure to head to the Fellowship Hall after worship that same day for a grab-and-go soup and bake sale. We're also looking forward to our Shrove Tuesday pancake supper on 2/17 and Ash Wednesday worship on 2/18. You can find some more information on those below.
